Boutique Wines – Close to the outskirts of Wellington, very well located in the beautiful Voor Groenberg area, this 4.3ha boutique winery offers a handpicked, working lifestyle opportunity. Hugging the slopes of the foot of Groenberg, 3,2ha of vineyards with a complement of wine grape varieties Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Mourvedre, form the core of the smallest registered wine estate in South Africa. Proudly included is a 42-year-old block of Chenin Blanc. The vines are all trellised and under drip irrigation. Wine production in the boutique cellar is on a small scale in a sustainable and truly handcrafted fashion, amounting to 20 000 – 25 000 bottles per year. Sustainable vineyard management, natural fermentation, low sulphites and careful barrel selection underpin the uniqueness of each wine made here. All necessary registrations are in place.
